Hi everyone!! I’m Gabby and I’m in DDS3 😎

Whilst I love dentistry, I have fostered a deep and encompassing passion for event planning and team management during my time in tertiary education. Rumour has it that I had a 14-page masterdoc for my birthday party last year. When I am not event planning, I am working on my lifts (and running my mouth) with the uni powerlifting club. When the opportunity allows, I like to ski, travel, go to live music events and paint ⛷️🎨

VICE PRESIDENT

Have you ever met a dental student who consumes sugar on a daily basis? Well, that’s me! Even though I have already had a root canal filling (bonus points if you can guess which tooth using FDI notation 😫), I still let my sweet tooth take the reins and you will find me procrasti-baking anything from cookies to muffins on a weekly basis.

I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to organising my schedule, so don’t be alarmed if you see me scurrying around uni like a headless chook. However, you should be alarmed if I say I haven’t had my morning matcha latte, because I will most likely be non-functional. But my second favourite thing (after matcha) is a yap, so be sure to say hi!

Hi everyone! I’m Chloe, a DDS3 student and the secretary for this year!

When I’m not being a caffeine addict and losing my mind over uni, I love travelling to new places, listening to music and occasionally gaming with my friends. I’m also constantly on the hunt for new places for matcha. Ps if you have not tried Naau’s matcha with peanut cream, you are missing out!!

Fun fact: my most recent travel location was rural Japan and I got to hike along one of the world’s only two UNESCO world-heritage listed pilgrimage routes!

Hi all!! I’m Muhsin, your friendly Sponsorship Officer for this year. I hail all the way from Vancouver, CANADA 🇨🇦, and the land of FIGS scrubs — whichever one is easier to remember for you!

When I’m not juggling sponsorship duties or scurrying around the CBD looking for a food (eats), I’m usually working on content creation, rotting away on TikTok, or cooking up a new SHMEAL🥵. Oh — and you’re also bound to catch me consoling a crying classmate with my signature line: “it’s never that serious…,” followed by a quick nag about that crying video they sent to half the class, then a pep talk to remind them that we got this!

If you catch me running late to class with a coffee in one hand and my loupes case in the other, just pretend you didn’t see it. But also do come say hi if you see me on campus — I’m always happy to chat OR caffeinate?!

Hi guys, I am a DDS 3 student taking over the Event Executive role this year.

I enjoy staying in my comfortable room and imagining going out to explore, but I am too lazy to do so. But I will not be too lazy to make this a fun year for all of you.

Quick fun fact: I got the name Joe because my last name is Zhou (which is pronounced the same). HAHA

DDS ACADEMIC OFFICER

My name is Shelby, and I am in DDS3 and I am the incoming DDS Academic Officer!!

I am an avid long distance runner and enjoy learning new trails in Melbourne!! 🏃🏽‍♀️I volunteer with a semi-pro ice-hockey team in Melbourne which is where you’ll find me nearly every weekend between April to August! Fun fact; I grew up in Northern Ontario and was a competitive figure skater until I was 18!⛸️ I love the outdoors, camping, dogs, and country music. 🤠I also spend some of my spare time sewing and quilting 👵🏼

Hi! I’m Navya and I’m your events officer this year. I served as the DDS1 Social Rep last year and loved my time on MDSS so I’m back for another year :)

I love walking around the city, taking pictures of my friends and enjoying iced lattes (no matter what the weather is). I’m really looking forward to organizing amazing events for the committee this year and meeting new people! I also love making reels and photo dumps in my free time and interacting with people online - @saycheesesmilepls! If you ever catch me at Good Measure, come up and say hi!!!

Hello! I’m Rosa, a DDS2 student and your ADSA Rep for 2025.

This year, I’ll be dedicating a good chunk of my time to planning the DSV Cup—fingers crossed we win! 😄

I’m Canadian and a self-proclaimed foodie who loves grabbing bubble tea and trying new foods with my friends. Don’t worry—if you did a caries risk assessment on me, the protective factors definitely outweigh the risks! Outside of food adventures, I’m an origami enthusiast and enjoy capturing everyday moments to share on my dental Instagram. (See if you can find my "secret" account—it’s worth the hunt!)

Hey everyone! I’m Zak an incoming DDS3 student, and I am excited to be the better half of your Media and IT team this year!! 😆

When I’m not busy with school, you’ll likely find me scouting for the best food spots or hunting down sweet deals to satisfy my massive sweet tooth—desserts are a weakness that I carrhnt tuhhrn down! 🍦🍩

hi! i’m annette, a dds3 and one of your IT/media officers!

you can probably find me in a queue somewhere at uni lining up for free food, but if i’m not there i’m either trying to complete a beginner level climb (💔), playing sims or at an açai shop 🍨

when i’m not being a study goblin i enjoy crocheting, looking for yummy food places, and going on nature walks with friends.

As a curious person with a deep love for travel, I have an adventurous spirit that enjoys going on walks, trail runs and hikes with family and friends. Alongside my love for travel and learning more about the world, l also enjoy getting lost in a good book as I was quite the book worm when I was younger!
